This is a very special cake of mine. I have been on a long hiatus. I broke my right and dominant wrist, was in a cast for 2 months, then the cast didn’t go well as my bones have shifted and i was in a lot of painful ordeal. I already packed my cake stuff which was very emotional for me. I thought I won’t be able to make any more cakes ever. Then I went for surgery and my wrist has been healing well.

This is the cake I made for my hand surgeon’s daughter, exactly a month after surgery. So grateful for his faith in me. Never thought I can get back to the caking track so soon. My occupational therapy…;)
