This cake travelled 285 miles down to Cornwall for a surprise holiday for my Mum’s 50th Birthday.

When it came to planning the cake it had to be based on Mum’s favourite film – Pretty Woman and chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache. I wanted the cake to be special but it had to be suitable for travelling, along with all our luggage and be still fresh for Mum’s birthday which was at the end of the holiday!

So this is my design! There is Rodeo Drive shops on the bottom tier with the well known Rodeo Drive sign, beautiful black lace and red roses on the middle tier, champagne and strawberries and Cartier bag top tier.
