I used Kara’s fab tutorial to make the sequins for this cake. I melted the gelatine before realising my size 1 nozzle looked enormous (and bigger than my 2!) so I’m keen to try again with a smaller nozzle. So easy to do.
I made a beautiful fantasy flower for this cake but it broke! Noooo…had to improvise with these fabric roses instead. First time doing pleats, would like to try a whole cake in them now.
