Another cheesecake request from my daughter. She is going to a friend’s birthday and asked if I could make a red velvet cheesecake. Apparently her friends love cheesecake as much as she does.. This one has some cream cheese buttercream on top. Of course, I could not let it go without a little decoration. Made some fondant (hand molded) roses and leaves. For those interested in the recipe, I used this one http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/red-velvet-cheesecake but for the crust I used 2 c of cream filled chocolate cookies (Oreos) 1/2 c of brown sugar and about 1/2 c of melted butter (might have been a little less). I scraped most of the cream from the cookies.
Very pretty!

Thanks everyone. My daughter is really crazy about cheesecake and apparently her friends are now fans of cheesecake too. Every time they get together, they ask her if I’m making a cheesecake.
