Cake Decorating

What would you do, If you don't need money for living?

I was just wondering what would you do If you don’t need money for living? What is your Dream Job?

I’m pretty sure that there are many of you who would quit their daily jobs right away, but there are many of you who like what they are doing for living.

I think that most of you will say Cake Decorating, but I know that some of you could do other things like arts – Calli for example, or some of you could be musicians – Neli for example.

I, personally can imagine myself to do lot of sports – football(soccer for US members), basketball, fitness ..etc…not as a professional athlete, just because I like it. Or on the other hand, I would like to train my own football or basketball team.
Once I’m a grown up, I will :)

What a thought ;) I would love to be an artist and expand all the horizons on sculpting and painting xx

Yup, I’m working hard to be a philosopher :)

You are an artist already – you use sculpting and painting on your cakes.

Im also in agreement with Znique re panting and ceramics…mine has taken a back shelf of late.. but I would love to run a B&B Villa in Italy’s Tuscany area. Id have to learn Italian, :)

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

I would be a Pathologist. Conducting autopsies, I think it’s fascinating. Maybe in my next life.

Quite a contrast to what I do now – LOL

At this stage in my life, I would open a multi-purpose studio to teach 3-D art, sugar flowers, ceramics – make it a fun place where people come to discover their inner artist! I can see it already… Maybe I should buy a Lotto ticket – :)

Wow…. Good question Michal!!
I’m retired now, so working for a living is a mute point. Don’t know what I would have said a few years ago when I was working. Probably the same as I’m doing now, doing whatever I want when I want…no time constraints….free to do artsy things…crafts, decorating, more travelling….But if I had more money…I’d take voice lessons, learn to play the violin., art lessons…earn to tango….I could go on & on…..

MsGF: Pathologist? I didn’t expect that someone will say this :) really a contrast.

As I’m reading your answers, it seems like we have to work more so we can work less in the future…never-ending story :)

Wishful thinking on my part, Michal!! Up till retirement age (65 in Malta), I will always have to work for a living or else starve!!!! However I still manage to combine work with pleasure even though I have a 9 to 5 job!!!!! BUT if like DG I buy a lotto ticket and ………….I would persue my biggest passion, traveling!!!

My dream job would be an Architect. I love using computer programs and graph paper to design or re-design rooms and houses. I designed a re-model of my sons house a couple years ago and he and his father in law did the construction. It came out amazing! The design included adding a bedroom, total kitchen, changing a living room into a dining room and turning an un-used garage into a vaulted living room. Such fun!
