I am a self-taught baker/decorator/designer in this crazy but extremely fun world of cakes. I wish I had started earlier, but as the saying goes, better late than never, right?

My husband and Mom, who is 95 years old, are my tasters and best critics, although they always find my cakes absolutely fabulous - so much for being impartial - LOL!

Most of my work comes through referrals and I love the challenges they present. Fun Fiesta Cakes specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and brownie bites. I love decorating cakes and creating smiles for all my clients, friends and family members!

Hey I was looking to c how to make a moist cake after u freeze it to decorate I seen were u said to put simple syrup on it do u do thst after u cook it or after u freeze it and take it out to decorate it thanks in advance

Fun Fiesta Cakes ...

I add the simple syrup right before I add the buttercream filling to my tiers. You can either use a squirt bottle, or a pastry brush. Be careful not to overdo it because that could make your cake mushy. Add just enough to moisten the top of the tier.

You can flavor your simple syrup.

Hope this helps!
