I have only just joined your online caking community and am in awe of the all the work I have seen!
I have been self teaching myself cake decorating for just over a year but it is only a hobby so I am havent done that many and I am still very green.
One part of the cake decorating process that brings me the most fear and anxiety is the baking! :/.
Whilst I have a few very good recipes, I am stilling having problems finding a butter cake that is dense, tasty and not too dry.
I was kind of hoping that maybe someone on here maybe kind enough to share their recipe or a few tips with me ?
