Royal icing collar

Hi everyone i’ve been asked to do a sugarpaste communion cake but they would like a royal iced collar deisgn on it, all the collars ive done have always been on fully royal iced cakes, so im not sure if this would work. Has anyone done this and if so any tips i might need. Thx :-)

Hi, yes you can do a collar on a sugarpaste cake.You do it in exactly the same way as you would a fully RI cake
