Introduction

I am Shabnam the face behind Sugary Addictions. I was born in the so called soul of India (Mumbai). My mom was a great cook. She use to bake simple fruits cakes for us when we were small and I think that was the start of my baking journey. She taught me cooking, respecting others, being independent and many things what I know today. I started baking when I was 12 years old and then never looked behind. I use to bake for my family and friends occasionally. 

I am an HR by heart and profession. My cakes were relished by my family and friends and that motivated me to pursue further in it. That's when I did my basic fondant course from Sugarcraft India and then started making customized cakes. The person who challenges me the most is my daughter who keeps demanding cakes for her birthday which are unique and more dramatic. I believe in making cakes with the best quality ingredients, as my basic principle is I cannot let other child eat something which I would not let my daughter eat.   Baking is my passion. I give utmost time to every cake I make as I want my customers to feel elated when they see it and to feel it is one for them. Feedbacks matters more to me. I love making friends.
