My Bulgaria Cake Collaboration

‘’MY BULGARIA Cake Collaboration" is the first and only all-Bulgarian sugar art collaboration, which was started in 2017 by chef Mariya Ozturk. Bulgarian sugar decorators are invited to participate and the topics they work on are always related to Bulgaria.
This is the fourth year of this traditional event and it was dedicated to the capital Sofia and its landmarks. The collaborations are presented at real exhibitions in different cities of the country as well as over the internet.
Architectural and religious buildings, monuments, and historical places representing the art and culture of Sofia have been made with exceptional detail and precision for weeks and months.
Prominent and popular Bulgarian decorators from all over the world take part in the collaboration and every year new ones are invited. By organizing this collaboration, Maria Ozturk aims to promote the sugar art talent of her compatriots in the country and abroad.
This year, despite the difficulties caused by the global pandemic, 13 participants managed to complete their projects and presented them at a real exhibition in a prestigious gallery in Sofia.
Many TV channels and electronic media outlets showed interest in the event and covered it in their news programs.
