Cake lace bat wings

I have not made wings with cake lace, Andrea, but I have several times with gum paste, using a frame of wire. I see no reason why you couldn’t do the same with cake lace and I think they will be beautiful. You might need to twiddle a small amount of fondant or gum paste onto your wires so the lace will stick.

Thanks Sandra ,yes, I was planning on two sheets stuck together ,with the wires in between with a bit of twiddled saracino on the wires to help the structure x
