I have a cake which I baked on the 23rd it isn’t due for another 6 days (the 1st of March), is it okay to cover it in fondant and leave out on the counter in room temperature covered in cling film (saran wrap) for this amount of time? It is a vanilla sponge cake. Please help guys I only do cakes in my spare time and this is an order I do not want to mess up. Thank you.
