Hi there. I’m new to the world of cake decorating. I’ve been starting to practice piping techniques but I’ve found that my icing keeps melting while I’m trying to pipe. I’m wondering if my hands are just getting too hot for the icing. I’ve used buttercream and royal icing with the same results. Does anyone have any suggestions or helpful hints? My next idea is to use my Wilton Dessert Decorator Plus instead of plastic icing bags. Thanks!
