Karen Flude name change to Karen's Kakery
Hi Guys,
just a quick mail to let you know I’ve changed my profile name from Karen Flude to my business name of Karen’s Kakery.
I’ve done this because I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with my personal facebook page which I’m beginning to see is not very fulfilling and I’m going to stop using that page so much.
But I don’t want to loose my Karen’s Kakery page on FB and don’t know how to delete my personal page without loosing my business one………….so if anyone has any ideas……….please advise.

Ahhh, sorry for your frustrations, is a common complaint and very frustrating how the algorithms on FB work. Thanks for the heads up and will know who you are. One thing I will add though, I saw this happen to three people who used their cake page name in their personal page name, Facebook notified them (and it wasn’t spam) to say they will take the page down unless they change the personal name so that it doesn’t associate with business page. On saying that, I see quite a few people link the two with no problems, but thought I’d add it, just in case.

I’ll probably keep my personal name page but just not use it anymore in that case.
I can’t find out how to close the page without being able to keep the business page live anyway.
