Air conditioning in the UK

Calling UK based cake makers. It’s the first full summer working out of my own kitchen and I’m so over this whole heat and humity in the middle of wedding season thing!

I’m thinking I really need to sort out some air con before next summer. Looking at portable air-con units but don’t know what to buy or if it’s the right solution.

Do any of you lovelies have any tips you can pass on?
