Cake Decorating

keeping my cake fresh

Hi all, first post here so please be kind!!
I am looking for some advise on keeping my cake fresh. I’m making a coconut cake for a family members birthday however we are all going on holiday and need to take the cake with me already made. We leave Monday morning and the cake won’t be presented until Thursday. It will not be decorated as they want it to be just a plain coconut cake. It will be baked in a loaf tin. I can freeze it before I go however where I am staying doesn’t have a freezer, just a fridge. I will obviously wrap it in cling film and in an air tight container but not sure how fresh this will keep it?
Any advise welcome!!
