I’m new to this site, and enjoy baking as a hobby. I have been asked to be one of 3 bakers for a Wedding in September. The guest list is 160 people. The bride would like guest to choose from a selection of 15 different 8-9 inch round cakes 12 different flavors using white and glass cake stands and plates.
I want the bride to be happy, but I’m concerned not only as to how this will display, but also disappointing guest if they don’t get to try a slice of their 1st or second choice cause its already gone. Perhaps I’m being close minded. Supposedly the wait staff would be slicing pieces as the guest come to the table. Any suggestions on how many servers might need to properly handle this style table?
Would appreciate some advice on if this dream table can be a success? If so how?
