ABCakes - Rebecca Daw

Hello, I’m Rebecca and have been doing cakes for 3yrs now. I’m self taught through the amazing youtube and Google. Also having an eye for detail and a creative side I love each piece I get to put together.
I only do cakes part time in my own time as I do work full time as a Beauty Therapist for 13yrs now.
My love for cakes started on the first cake I made for my 25th birthday. It sparked an interest in me that made me look deeper… I found myself looking forward to the next family birthday for an excuse to stay up endless nights to put together a new Masterpiece. This hobby quickly became a business as my housemate and I shared the same interest in Cakes :)
We Started a Facebook page initially to show off ours cakes to friends and family and see if we could start to sell our late night creations. We boomed! ABCakes felt like it grew over night… A is for Amanda B is for Bec.
Unfortunately I’m now on my own as my business partner moved away. But I’ve continued to grow as a baker and decorator and have even exercised the idea of waxing less and decorting more as the orders keep rolling in :)
