I’ve committed myself to making a cake for a friends birthday and they wanted a chocolate / hazelnut cake. So I decided to go with a Mud Cake because last time I made a chocolate cake I found it lacked flavour and I know mud cake won’t disappoint there however I don’t want to make the filling too sickly sweet and was thinking of doing a chocolate stabilised whipped cream with hazelnuts in it.. Do you think the cake will hold together it will be about 4 layers and I will ice the outside with IMBC…I just haven’t seen anyone use whipped cream with mud cake and thought maybe they dont go together or something .. I find ganache to rich and I belive my mud cake has cooked similar to a brownie
