I’m wondering what most of you would charge for this cake. I only charged 70.00 but I know with what I spent and my time I under charged. The bottom tier is a 10" chocolate cake with 2 layers split and ganache between each layer and white chocolate buttercream. The top tier is an 8" white cake with homemade raspberry filling and white chocolate buttercream. Thanks for any input
First of all…amazing cake! It’s adorable! Second of all, are you kidding me…$70! That should be at least $175! 3 tiers and so much work. I would have bad as a client giving a baker $70 for all that work!

how long did it take you to make
Thank you for your reply and comments. I’ve made cakes for years but mostly as a hobby and kind of new at charging for them. This cake was made for my daughter-n-law’s sister, and I knew I was giving her a very good deal. I’m thinking about starting a business so I want to take some time to get my fees set. I am asking questions and doing some research on how to charge for a cake like this next time. Thank you, your comments are very helpful to me. Yes, I worked hard and spent many hours on this cake. I know that the fondant alone cost me almost as much as she paid me.
