Edible lace on buttercream

Hi, does anyone know if Claire Bowman edible lace can be wrapped around a buttercream cake and if so how long does it last? Does it dissolve over time?

No idea about the edible lace, but any fondant design will go soft when left on buttercream for a while as it will absorb the moisture.
