Vacancy - Cake Decorator at Bath Cake Company

Bath Cake Company is looking to appoint an experienced cake baker and cake decorator to join our rapidly growing cake business and be part of the small bakery team. The job is part time based over two days, Tuesday and Friday, with extra hours during school holidays and busy periods.

The responsibilities of the post are to bake cakes, decorate bespoke cakes including wedding cakes, work with buttercream and sugarpaste, make sugar flowers and models and pipe elegantly.

The job involves extended periods of working on your feet, lifting and carrying.

Basic hours are 18+ per week.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Location: Bath city centre

The successful candidate:
Ideally you will have trained in a professional capacity and have worked successfully in a fast-paced professional kitchen before and be quick and efficient with an eye for quality and cleanliness.
You will be creative and have an eye for detail and work to consistently high standards of baking and cake decorating.
You will be able to work well individually and as part of a team, and demonstrate good project and time management skills.
You will be reliable and honest.

We are not looking to employ someone who runs their own cake business.
