Please I need a good Royal Icing Recipe........

When making my cookies all I use is Powdered Sugar and a few drops of milk to ice them. I’m looking to get more details and depth on to my cookies. So if anyone is willing to give me a great royal icing recipe, I’d be truly and utterly grateful :)

I am not sure if this is the best but my royal icing recipe is

1 lb powdered sugar
3 Tbsp meringue powder
5-6 Tbsp water

This will give you a medium stiff consistency. Hope this helps.
