I loved the idea of doing some kind of elegant vintage boxes (I think people here are more impressed by shiny gold effects than by a dusty looking antique finish..Ok…I must admit that I forgot in the rush of the morning to brush some brown dust on the borders and edgings…) The cake was for a 50 anniversary and fed about 100 peoples. I loved most doing the scroll and blossom piping on the bottom case. It was ispired from the embroidery on the veil of their wedding anniversary favours.
