A HUGE congratulations to Charmaine and Ray! Charmaine happens to be my best friend’s little sister, who I watched grow from a toddler to the gorgeous young lady that she is today, so you can imagine the huge honour that was bestowed upon me when she asked me to create her wedding cake. Charmaine gave me free reign to create this cake, so I set myself the challenge to hand pipe 3 tiers of this cake! Trouble was, I had NEVER hand piped before! Was I scared? YES! It took me many, many hours to hand pipe this cake and it truly was a labour of love but the effort and result speaks for itself. I also incorporated the scrunch rose ruffles created and made famous by Cake Face which also took a few hours to complete but again, the effort was totally worth it. The handcrafted roses were coloured peach to breathe life into the cake and also to offset the colour of the rest of the cake. This cake was my first ever 5 tier cake and certainly was a beast of a thing to make. I totally love making wedding cakes, and I hope that you, Miss C Fans love it too! Enjoy! xx
