Those who follow me on Instagram would know that I’d loved David Austin’s with tender love for as the couple of years I’d been into sugar flowers, but Fern is a new on the block for me and, I must say, it is by far my favourite piece of foliage at the moment, I love the drama and the slightly alieny shape variation of it. I think It will probably be making guest appearance in all my flower compositions from now on.

DA roses, for a while I’d switched to making them free-form but now I’d decided that I do, after all prefer this one, the petal look with cutters. I used NL’s paste, I know some flower artists say that it doesn’t roll thin enough , but I never found that to be the case
