My piece is based on a beautiful painting entitled Green Peace by the amazing artist
Nekea Blagoev. When I saw the piece I immediately fell in love with the colors. It was so striking that I just had to try to recreate it in sugar form. The bamboo is cut out gumpaste dusted with a dark green. The flower is my take on a lotus flower and the bottom tier is done with the Marvelous molds Bellissimo Scroll Mold and is painted to resemble carved wood. The top is based on some wood wall art I found on Pinterest!
