I have been a union carpenter for the last 16years. About 8 years ago I started trying my hand at cakes and I fell in love. This year I made a serious career change and took a break from the tool belt. I now wear an apron!!! I am currently a cake artist for Dana Herbert ( winner of season 1 Next Great Baker) I feel very blessed .

Laura your cakes are so awesome! Dana (Sugar Daddy) was and is my all time favorite tv cake personality. I was always so impressed with his character on the show. I never heard him say a curse word or down anyone else. I so appreciated that! It seems like you are blossoming under his instruction. I just followed you so that I can see more of your awesome work. The teapot chandelier is soo awesome..deffinately different.
