Loved making this cake for my client’s wedding! The large flowers is made from very cheap flower cutters and it was the first time using them. Very chuffed with the result. Just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a fortune on some equipment :-) The top two tiers are cake and the bottom is a ‘fake’ cake. A very nervous groom collected this cake on the morning of the wedding and very carefully held it on his knee whilst his friend drove him to the venue. Thankfully it arrived safe and sound and I had such a lovely message of thanks from the bride.

By the way, the fact that my wallpaper matched the cake was sheer coincidence – I only noticed this after I had taken the photos!
