Mrs Rabbit - The Sugar Chronicles

I made Mrs Rabbit (Peter’s mum) for the Beatrix Potter display at The Cake and Bake Show in Manchester last weekend. I was so proud to be part of this amazing team of cake artists and everything we achieved. She was nearly 22" tall to the top of her ears and was on an 18" square board. She was all cake apart from the polystyrene head. She was actually cut live on stage to prove that she was indeed cake. An amazing experience that we will hopefully repeat next year!

Thank you Ivon, Michele and Mellie. We always forget something don’t we? I really wish I’d thought to get a photo of myself with Mrs Rabbit before I brought her up to Birmingham.
