Absolutely loved making this elegant pastel coloured cake for my client’s mom’s 80th birthday party today. This cake was inspired by the very talented Cotton & Crumbs cake. New found love for these soft pastel colours! Although roses are made from gum paste, I made the centre cone from iclay modelling clay – drys quickly and is very versatile (don’t worry though – told client’s not to eat the roses!)
