Here is my piece I did for the music around the world collaboration https://www.facebook.com/MusicAroundtheWorldCakeNotes/ . I had so much fun making this piece. As many of you know anytime I get to do something Australian themed I jump at the chance and to do something around the aboriginal culture well, that is right up my alley. I love the bright vibrant colors of this piece and truly loved putting a twist on it with the up and down edges on bottom and middle tiers. My Aboriginal and Ullaru are 2D made of gumpaste and then painted with cocoa butter and didgeridoo is 3D. I found a gorgeous piece of artwork ( last picture) that just drew me too it instantly so used that as my inspiration.

If you have never heard this instrument you need to go to youtube and look it up and take a listen it is one of my favorite instruments and makes me feel so home sick every time I hear it. Even though I am not aboriginal I heard this instrument so much growing up it is tattooed now into my soul.
