I had loads of fun making these cute little characters for this cake. Thanks to Carlos Lischetti’s fox tutorial in his Animation in Sugar Take 2 Book – helped me hugely as I’m not much of a figurine person myself – usually leave this to my son, Robert, who is fantastic, but he’s recovering from cancer at the moment and doesn’t always have the energy to help. Also made the bunting with wooden skewers, rustic twine and a glue gun. Downloaded some free alphabet bunting of the internet and made up my own personalised cake bunting for Jackson!
