I learn something new every day! Did you know that if you send a picture of your child to Lego that they will design a custom Lego figure in their likeness? That’s what my client did, & they created the cutest figure of her son Hudson with a big pompadour of awesome hair! LOL!

So I created a cake in the likeness of his custom-created Lego figure, and I don’t think it can get any more custom than that! The cake stands slightly over 2 feet tall. The ‘skeleton’ is galvanized pipe & PVC, since he needed SERIOUS support. The legs are rice krispy treats, for stability & the torso & head are confetti cake with white chocolate buttercream filling. There’s a THICK layer of fondant & white chocolate on top of the head to create that pompadour, & the arms are modeling chocolate over PVC pipes. His shirt is sporting the logo custom created by my client for the party!

Even with the height of the cake, it’s so narrow front to back, that we also included a few dozen cupcakes with white chocolate Lego themed toppers to make sure there were enough servings. It was an awesome party & totally Lego-themed from start to finish.
