This was a competition piece from a few years back. I had just changed my business name to Cleopatra Cakes and I had the idea to create a piece to represent the name.The competition gave me the excuse to try some new things.I Loooove Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra and this is who Inspired this piece.I’ve been involved in Middle Eastern dance for nearly 20 years and was obsessed with Cleopatra since I was young. And I was so excited to win first place in the Novelty category for her at the Cake Bake and Sweets show in Melbourne.
