Had one of those “proud” moments today after I had set up this 4 tier ombre red ruffle wedding cake. I always like to turn around as I am walking away from the set up and look at my cake from a distance. This time, I felt really proud looking back at this wedding cake which had taken many hours of mixing the right tone of red (oh my, hours and HOURS!!) And then even more hours ruffling it, but I have to say, this is one of my favourite ruffle cakes I’ve made to date. (although I love them all mind you!)

The little bunny bridal topper was made by my son Robert. Thanks lad!
