It was our Auntie’s 80th birthday, and we wanted her to have something really special. My cousins organised an amazing surprise birthday lunch with all the family, and we made her her fave cake; carrot layer cake with a hint of cinnamon and cream cheese frosting and filling. It was a wonderful celebration one which we shall all cherish forever.

The flowers are vanilla flavour wafer paper and so are the decorative leaves but the smaller filler flowers are gumpaste.

Doesn’t she just look smashing!!!???
