Coxswain Henry Freeman

Coxswain Henry Freeman

When my best cake friend asked me to help her with a charity collaboration I just couldn’t say no, especially when it was for such a worthy cause as the RNLI. Completely funded by donations they keep us all safe on the beaches and at sea around the coast of the U.K. And Ireland. I’m so proud of Lizzie, she works so hard in her ‘day job’ and yet still found time to pull this off! We’ve raised over £500, if you’re inspired to donate please visit www.justgiving/RNLI-CAKE

This is my first bust cake, I was very nervous! Ha! Henry Freeman was a fisherman and lifeboatman here in Yokshire in the late 19th century and was highly decorated for his bravery. We often visit Whitby where he lived so it seemed fitting to choose him.

Thanks for looking!
