A cake from the week end. I have made some cakes for the family before so when Evelyns Mum asked me to make her 2nd Birthday cake and that her favourite book was ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ I hadn’t heard of it before but some of you may of as its an old book that many people used to read to their children

The design was left to me (so lots of searching on the internet) and most of what I could find was ‘Sophie and the Tiger at the table’ which I thought for a 2yr was probably the safest thing to go for as she would recognise it.

I was in the process of taking photos when they came to collect the cake and little Evelyn was very shy until she spotted her cake then HUGE smiles appeared! Sometimes its not just about making the cake ……

Research is also needed to make sure to get some of the most important details correct (Sophie, the little girls tights are blue/white and pink checkered!)
