Did this cake for a wonderful friend’s Christmas wedding this past weekend. Had to drive 5 hours on Friday and construct on Saturday with platform with center dowel and styrofoam spacers. Three tiers floating among the ornaments, gold leaf middle tier, smooth buttercream (was finally happy with the smoothness!) on other two tiers with cranberry ribbon. Sorry to disappoint, those are real ornaments (I’m not THAT talented!) but that’s exactly what she wanted!
