this is one I just want to dive into! ;) 2-layer 8-inch round devils food cake, pecan and chocolate chips in the batter. White buttercream filling and toasted coconut with chocolate buttercream icing on the outside. Then melting chocolate dripping down sides (I just used a spoon to drip down).
I placed chocolate dipped strawberries on top, and I left room for the white chocolate sign I made with BC piping for the name and edging.
I made sign by melting white chocolate bark. I laid out a piece of wax paper.. approx. knowing about what size. I used a spoon and small angled spatula to spoon out choc, then spread out with a thickness of about 1/8-1/4 inch, so it wouldn’t break, then I froze for 10-15 min. I made the base of the sign a little more narrow, so I could hide it banking strawberries around it.
