American Cake Decorating magazine set the challenge “Create an exclusive trend inspired cake for the January issue” and 17 incredible cake artists took on that challenge. Tasked with creating a “Trend forward” cake design for 2016, It is no surprise that the focus for all of the artists were “Trend setting wedding cakes”. Each designer took on one trend inspiration and created a cake that reflected their trend. My trend was “Modern textures”.
