My customer asked if I’d be able to make a cake like her dad’s garden if she sent me a photo – I said I’d have a good go – and this was the result. Their reaction on collecting the cake was worth all the hours it took me :) Apparently the birthday boy couldn’t bare to have it cut up at the actual party as he wanted to look at it for a bit longer – so slicing had to wait another 24 hours – luckily I’ve heard that everyone’s had some now and they thought it tasted as good as it looked – phew!
