Don’t know what is going on but lately I’ve had such a hard time with fondant so this was far from flawless. It is a surprise anniversary cake for my brother-in law and his wife. Unfortunately as I was in the middle of my fight with the fondant, I got a call that he was being hospitalized again. Needless to say my head was not on the decorating but really like this color combination. I’m trying to venture into different color combinations. Rose and berries are gumpaste and the leaves and aster is wafer paper. * Update: Looks like he is going to be in the hospital for a bit so I took the cake to the hospital. Set up a time with his daughters so the hospital room was full. Brought a little cheer.*
