Paintbrushes are a bit my Linus blanket, I go back to them every now and then but usually I can express myself with them and colours in a very direct way and the message arrives straight to the person the cake was thought for. I made this cake for a friend who loves horses, I painted her horse and the reaction when she saw her birthday present was of total surprise and happiness. Big smiles are the best reward, always ;-)
