I had the pleasure of making Gaelle’s communion cake. The figurine is modeled/inspired after the communion figurine favor (see last picture). I have used the bas-relief for the lower tier and added a wafer paper flower to compliment the whole cake; the touch of pink is to compliment the pink in the flowers on the dress and the box of the favor.
