Katherine loves penguins, and well, Rob loves Katherine. So a penguin-strewn wedding cake was the order of the day, with ice caves, icebergs, an airbrushed icy mountain range, snow covered fir trees, snowballs galore, Cake Lace snowflakes, icicles and an igloo. These penguins had plenty of mischief to get into! The bride and groom’s initials were hand cut from the same sugarpaste colour which the penguins were made from to ensure they matched the bridesmaids’ dresses exactly. The cake stood over 3 feet tall and was a chocoholics dream: chocolate with salted chocolate buttercream, chocolate orange marble cake with chocolate orange buttercream, mocha with salted chocolate buttercream and white chocolate with whipped white chocolate buttercream.
