I was beyond thrilled when I got a phone call from the producers of American Idol asking if I could make a cake for Nick Fradiani, one of this year’s finalists. He is from my town and they filmed his homecoming here yesterday. I had less than 24 hours notice on this cake but there was no way I was saying “no”! Such a fun experience.
