My contribution to the Baking Dead collaboration. We were asked to choose a scene from any of the seasons of The Walking Dead and use edible mediums to bring it to fruition. I chose the Th Governor’s fish tank scene, where he and Michonne fight. The blood on the glass shard is where Michonne cuts here hand trying to grab it as a weapon.

You can eat it all! The cake board is fondant detailed and painted to look like hardwood flooring. The tank is CakePlay Isomalt and gum paste. The head is carved from modelling chocolate & fondant, then hand-painted with more details. The shards are CakePlay Isomalt and the “water” is DECOgel.

I’m kinda sad I can’t keep the head as a memento. It’s so cool! Thanks for looking.
