This cake was my gift for the fiftieth birthday of my sister.

I created each flower pot as a symbol for one of her stages of life. The seedling represents her year of birth, the marigold is called in German student flower and represents her education. The two sprouts of the sunflower represent her two children and the dandelion shows her character and the future: “persevering adaptable, resilient”

This is written on the sticker on the front of the wooden box. On the side of the box is a barcode with the inscription: “number of birthday: 50”

For the flower pots I made a tutorial:

Thank you so much! ♥♥♥
Yes, my sister was really overwhelmed and speecheless after she realized that this was her birthday cake and no real flower pots. ;) The expression on her face was definitely worth all the work and effort.
